5th Resilient Erie Stewardship Summit Nov. 15 In Erie

Intense storms, flooding, blizzards, drought, and extended heat events are becoming more and more common in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Luckily, individuals and communities in Erie and the surrounding area are stepping up and taking action, building community resilience and the ability to bounce back after hazardous events.
The Summit will highlight individual and community-based projects, designed to mitigate or adapt to regional climate and weather impacts.
Local leaders, business owners, researchers, educators, and community members will highlight their projects, such as rain gardens, green roofs and parking lots, solar, tree plantings, LEED-certified buildings, agricultural growing practices, emergency preparedness projects and more.
There is no fee to attend but registration is required. To register or receive more information email the Network at: CRANE@environmenterie.org.
Visit the Resilient Erie Stewardship Summit webpage for all the details.
